Meeting 8:

We all decided to try completely new things this week. Had a mix of embroidery and crayons, one was successful, the other...not at all.

Olivia: One of us tried to do embroidery, found the fabric to embroider, sketched out the design, had the yarn and needles prepped, but it was just a futile effort, embroidery is much easier said than done. The other used crayons for the first time since elementary school, and it took a lot of color coordinating to create the intended effect of light and shadow. Afterwards they etched the figure with patterns using a sharp end of a mathematical compass. For the background they used watercolor, so that there wouldn't just be a blank space.
